A day from hell!!

Subject: A day from hell!! Tue Jul 15, 2008 8:26 pm

well, what was supposed to be a nice day...wasn't as nice as I hoped. I received a text from ex at 12.25pm to say he "couldn't handle coming to the scan" to which I replied, "it is your baby too and I could do with you to look after DS" so he said he would come. On the bus on the way to the hospital he was sat in front with DS and I noticed he was secretly texting....I saw what he wrote "I am in town, but will be as quick as I can x"...so I said..."texting your girlfriend?" he said..."yes...I have met someone and it's none of your business" got up gave DS a kiss and got off the bus. Hence I was left at the hospital in a right state...he has waited less than 3 weeks before finding someone else. I rang my mum and she came straight away and came with me...!
I went in for my scan and they managed to get a good look, DS and my mum were in there too, I was in for 30 minutes, then went to see the midwife and consultant, the midwife guessed I wasn't in a good state and so I told her and she was lovely...she wrote it in my notes, so I don't keep getting asked. the consultant then said..."wow your blood presure is high, but I am ignoring it as I have just read the notes..." so I gave a her a brief run through and she said "what a ba*^*"d...you are well shot of him!"
Anyways we went through the medical and scan stuff and she asked if I wanted to know the sex of the baby to which I said "yes please"...and she said "99% it looks like a girl!!"
So even though I am delighted that I have a girl on the way, the day has been dampened really and I have had some nasty texts from him about access and csa and solicitors etc....tomorrow I intend to get up and completely put him out of my mind, as for the past month I did have a little hope that he may come back...but now I know that was false hope...but I am still absolutely devastasted and it has totally hit home...I feel used etc...now I know why he paid for everything yesterday for DS's hospital appointment...guilt!!

Sorry to witter on I just needed to get this off my chest and I knew that you would listen.

What a complete K$#B He sounds like my ex, we have been split up for almost a year now after been together 13 years, It does get easier and I find I enjoy life so much more without him. Hugs to you xx

Oh Lise I'm so sorry you've had such a shocking day. I think the consultant put it perfectly!
I really hope that after a good night's sleep you'll be ready to face another day. At least you know where you stand now, I hope your DS isn't too badly affected.

He also sound like my ex. Usin the brain that is in his trousers rather than the 1 in his head, LOL.

I was with mine for 18 1/2 yrs, and we split in october. It will get easier, and you will wonder why you ever wanted him back. Just look forward to the future you and your 2 beautiful children.

Aw Lise he sounds a right tosspot! The girls are right though its gonna be a tough few months but you are best shot of him! i remember how low Stacy was last year and now she is enjoying life again and probably almost feels that her ex has done her a favour! xxx

babe i missed this post just went looking for it after reading todays post iyswim.

what a nasty bit of work he is..and to tell u like that.

its easy for me to say but u are better of without the scum bag.
