Did she know?

Do you think Rosemarie knew that her daughter was in the cellar?

I like to think she didn't know, as I don't see how any mother could stand by and let that happen. But things to seem odd.
Did she notice food going missing?
Did she ever go down to his workshop to find him missing? If so did she go looking for him? Or was the workshop out of bounds for her?
Was he down there for days/weeks/even months without her bothering?
Did she not get suspicious about the three children that got left on her doorstep?

i thought exactly the same. did she turn a blind eye, he was wierd she may have been scared of him, even so that was her daughter?? i cant find the words for this story

How is it that the neighbours new he was building extensions to his cellar but no one noticed that it didn't appear any bigger?

He must be great at making up excuses.

It's just such a weird, confusing story. Why would a man want to do that to his own child? He must be so mentally disturbed!

i think people knew how could they not , he would of had to supply food, clothes what about all the electricty they must of been paying and gas?

Why was there no mention of the daughter every time he strolled in with new child saying she had given the child to him?

didnt know-one think it was suspicious that know one saw her whenever she did hand over these children?

It suppose to be a very small town maybe a few peopl did know what was going on?

I think the mother must have known didnt she ever questionathe extending of the house tyhe money it must of cost him to support his other family come on?

its a really strange 1 how can u not know about it!!! mayb she did just turn a blind eye,but 3 children bein left on the doorstep or mayb thats normal over there

it wouldnt be the first or the last time that people get away with atrocities under others noses. Its all speculation, none of us have any idea but my true feeling is that she didnt know.

its horrible! i cant beliecve he only faces 15 years in jail! i know he's old and he prpob wouldnt even last that long but he deserves tp be locked up adn the key thrown away! to do that to ur own child is dusgusting!
