OMG how embarassing!

I took the kids shopping today, a fireplace shop and then a big outlet and whilst I was in the outlet, looking at a coat for Sam, a "lovely" old woman came up to me and said

"It's nice of you to take your brother and sisters shopping, I like seeing that."

I spluttered and was like

"pardon?"

She said

"you are the older sister aren't you?"

Obviously I said nope at which point she muttered, teenage parents today. I got mad at that point and said

"Well I'm 40 and had my eldest at 27"

She apologised thoroughly and looked so shocked when I said 40.

WTF? I went bright red!
