We went to carpetright today as we are decorating the lounge so need a new carpet. Anyway about a month ago they had one of those stupid sales that are 50% off then a further 25% off for a week so Lee asks the guy if another one of those is likely to be happening again soon.
The guy says 'oooh no youll never ever get that happening again not with the the fuel prices going sky high! Carpet is made of oil so the prices are just gonna rise not fall'! confused Suspect Im sorry but since when were carpets made of oil? I know Im a dumb blonde but christ Im sure theyare made of fibres not oil!
Can anyone explain?

i dont have a clue, i have never heard of that, maybe he was blonde LMAO

we got our 2 carpets from there and they had that special offer on and for our twos carpets we were just over £1000, goodness wouldnt wanted to have piad full price!!

One bedroom carpet and a stair carpet.

oh i know far well we got diddled but because it was a cheque from the insurance because of the fire, they used all the money, theifing bampots!!
