I do own my own home. But I will say this. When the credit crunch starts to affect us. (And thats me + my partner, so a 1 income + disability household) is when I will start to worry about this. So far it has been 8 months of continuous media hype.

I know I have lived on less food/luxuries than I'm living on now. If I had to I could cut down.

What does scare me is what would happen were my partner to lose his job. There is no chance of me being able to go out and work at all. So that is a real concern for me. We do have a small amount of savings but it's not much and we're eating into it with periodical housing repairs and upgrades.
