Demoderation and positions on other sites.

Hi ladies.

This is a bit of a serious post sorry! Its a simple fact that none of you are paid for helping on the forums, so there is only so much that its fair of me to ask of you, and i am very grateful for the work the team does. However, i still have to make sure the work is getting shared out evenly and all the team are doing their bit. This also means that if i think anyone is not doing as much as they could and this is consistent then i have to consider demoderation to give someone else a chance and to make sure there is no un fairness between the team. I am a softie really and dont like having to upset anyone so i find it hard even just typing this post! I will do if i think its best for the site and the team however. Below are some reasons i may consider demoderation, i would like you all to read and sign to say you have read please!

Reasons for demoderation

Verbally attacking members or other team members on the forum itself.

not enough time spent on the site, or other obligations that mean you cant be on the site often. This may seem unfair but the site needs to be regularly looked over

Disloyalty to the site, ie being on another and participating in derogatry posts about the site, or talking to normal members in a negative manner about the site and/or its team. I dont expect loyalty to me, but to the site i do

Not following instructions given by myself or admin consistently.

as this seems to have in the past been a bone of contention, in that the team should be free to do as they please, but at the same time its not nice to think that staff members are seeing private team talk topics and could be taking them elsewhere, i have thought about the fairest compomise i can come up with, in protecting the teams and the sites interests. If you choose to become a part of another teams staff, i will ask you to resign from your position on here. This is due to the conflict of interests that it would create. Resigning means you would go back to being a normal member. I hope this is deemed fair and seems a solution to issues created over this Smile

just another extra bit to add, it doesnt matter one bit if you are on any other sites, its only a conflict of interests if you become a staff member Wink

and for those i am stuck with, i am glad! Smile
